#TheCashewAppleProject Does Charity Outreach

Charity Outreach with #TheCAPTeam

On 17 December, 2016, just a few days before launching #TheCashewAppleProject, Anita Okoye, her husband Paul Okoye, and others headed to Oniru Beach to donate food and water to the families living there.

Everyone wore t-shirts with the logo for Anita’s project which is a mission to uncover Africa’s hidden jewels by inspiring people all over the world to look for the gems within the Continent’s flaws. Hans and Rene, an official partner of the movement, donated 100 boxes of food. Chinese food restaurant Chow Mien and Aquadana also made significant donations to support Anita’s charity outreach.

The Okoye’s son showed his support for mom’s new venture by lending a helping hand.

Anita also brought along activity books for the children. These books go along with Anita’s book The ABCs of Africa, which is available for pre-order and will release in the spring. After some fun trivia games, #TheCashewAppleProject crew spent time with the children who were eager to read Anita’s book.
